Yesterday we visited a very cute Christmas Market in Köln. It was cold and people were gathering together to eat and drink Glühwein, which is a hot wine with spices. Perfect to warm up.
Ayer visitamos un precioso mercado navideño en Colonia. Hacía frío y la gente se juntaba para comer y beber Glühwein, un vino caliente con especias. Perfecto para entrar en calor.
Holidays are a great time to learn family traditions. I’m blessed with a fabulous spanish, german and french family that teaches me on culture and traditions constantly, and how much I love that!
Las vacaciones son perfectas para aprender tradiciones familiares. Tengo la suerte de estar rodeada de una fabulosa familia española, alemana y francesa de la que aprendo a diario tradiciones y costumbres culturales, y como me gusta!
Today has been a wonderful Christmas day around the table and around the Christmas tree, enjoying family and life.
Tomorrow we fly to Barcelona, Spain to visit my family. I can’t wait to see them and spend time with them while enjoying an escudella (typical catalan soup) that my mother will prepare. What a great week will be in Barcelona, walking through its streets full of history, seeing old friends and having a bite to the food I enjoy the most: mediterranean food.

Hoy hemos disfrutado de un fantástico día de Navidad alrededor de la mesa y del árbol, disfrutando de la familia y la vida.
Mañana volamos a Barcelona a visitar a mi familia. Estoy contando las horas para verlos y pasar tiempo con ellos mientras disfrutamos de una escudella (plato de sopa típico catalán) que mi madre habrá preparado. Nos espera una gran semana en Barcelona, andando por sus calles llenas de historia, pasando tiempo con viejos amigos y dando mordiscos a la comida que más disfruto: la comida mediterránea.
